My cousin lives in Ohio and is turning 21. I want to get her a nice gift but she doesn't drink so I can't get her the typical "21 year old type gifts." Any ideas?
She is really into school...she isn't very girly but also not a big fan of sports, if that helps at all.Flowers are always great. Try to personalize it, though. What does she like? One year, my friends actually went out and got me two of my favorite books and a teapot (I'm obsessed with tea...), and it was so memorable, because they were truly things that I would buy for myself.
Another memorable thing - my cousin went through and made a scrapbook of all of the times we spent together. That nearly made me cry. Gifts don't have to be huge or impressive to make an impact. Usually it is the small, personalized touches that hold onto our hearts.take her to get her nails done. get her jewelery like a bracelet or something How about gift certificates to a movie theater and a restaurant? She can enjoy going out and have a sober evening with her friends. Otherwise, something based on her favorite school subjects.Do you know what clothes she wears? idk i think a specific gift card is a little better than visa cause giving visa kinda sounds...idk what you like...for example i gave me ex-gf a hollister gift card for her b-day cause she loves that store.Hey There!
I turned 21 in June and am also a non-drinker. I was given chocolate shot glasses (completely made out of chocolate!) that I thought were pretty cute. I never ate them!
I also got a lot of gift cards to things like grocery stores in my area, gas, etc.
Flowers, gift baskets... whatever you decide she'll be appreciative.
Good luck!get her makeup (if she wears any) or cds.Try a bottle of Sparkling Apple Cider or maybe some type of premium bottled Root beerIt depends on your budget. I will give a few options.
BATH BASKET:
Find a really nice basket, like one she could decorate with in her home. Fill the basket with nice smelling lotions, bath gels, shampoos, and body spray. Also include a nice soft bath towel or two and a gift card to Bath and Body Works. Maybe include some nail polish and nail care stuff.
SCHOOL BASKET:
Find a really nice basket or use a bag that she could use for school. Fill it with school supplies and a gift card to Staples or Office Max. Things to include as far as school supplies goes are pencils (mechanical and old fashion), a pencil sharpener (a nice hand held), highlighters, markers, pens, notebooks, folders, binders, etc.
GIFT CARD:
Get one to a bath store or school supply store or store like Best Buy or Wal*Mart or her fave clothing store.
FOOD BASKET:
All college students could use free food! In a nice basket or even a cooler that she can use later, include lots of healthy foods. A gift card to a grocery store (or money) or something would be nice also.
A gift card to Victoria's Secret, they have nice smelling bath stuff, clothing etc...Gift card to a book store i dont know if they have Barns and Nobles. or just a plain gift card. If she is really into school, how about a gift card to Border's Books? I bet she would love that. Or a DVD movie would be fun.
Good luck and good for her not to drink!!! I like to hear that :o)A new car? or like she said a giff card at her favorite storeYou could buy her clothing if you know her size or maybe a good book if you know of any you think she'd like or a new CD or a movie that you think she'll likejust mail her a check or a giftcard so she can pick out her own gifti think you should get her maybe some flowers or maybe a stuffed animal that says happy birthday ! just guessingI don't know any girl that would not want a spa day...hair done, facial, and nails.
Maybe get her a nice watch? necklace? or if you want something different, since winter is coming, maybe get her the softest, coziest, blanket and huge hot chocolate mug so she can actually use her gift.Well, Victoria Secret PINK line has comfy, not too girly not too boyish, items. Like quilted duffel bags, hoodies etc. Those are a huge hit for girls here.
A digital organizer, maybe?
itunes gift card.get her a basket of bath stuff,...a nice towel ($$$), bath salts and bubbles, stuff like thatWhat about a really beautiful book, something that means something to the two of you. I'm found my mum a book she use to read to us when we were kids. What about a Visa gift card? Or maybe a gift card for a favorite of her stores.get her an mp3 player#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
